Sorry I Have To

Destroy You 01

Sorry I Have To Destroy You examines the tension between human agency and emerging technological systems. The phrase is separated into individual letters, dynamically arranged through 3D simulation and fabricated as fragmented sculptural forms. Installed upright, the letters require viewers to move through space, reconstructing the phrase through embodied navigation and spatial interpretation.

The work positions meaning as something assembled through participation. Rather than presenting a fixed message, the installation asks viewers to physically engage with the fragments, emphasizing how understanding develops through interaction and movement.

Originally presented as a 3D printed sculptural series, the project expands into geospatial augmented reality, where virtual iterations are placed in real-world locations and accessed through a digital interface. This extension links physical and virtual environments, exploring how computational systems reshape spatial perception and how language, structure, and technology intersect within shared public space.
